Over the years I have been drawn to the works of Constable. John Constable was a major figure in English landscape painting in the early 19th century. Best known for his paintings of the countryside, he was described as painting in the romanticism style. In this piece, Harvest, my aim was to align my approach to his, or my understanding of him. Expansive skies and pastoral landscapes being my key.
Framed, and ready to hang.
