Nocturne

The tension between light and dark creates the depth of any piece. This nocturne was created by first building the darks, then introducing the light. Even at that point it was necessary to re-visit the darks and further deepen them. Reflective light, shadows, and perspective all combine to form an evening scene where the power of the sun punches through.
