This ethereal piece is reminiscent of long weekend adventures in 1976-77 in the area of Snowdonia (or Eryri National Park as it is now called). Trudging wet-footed but not dismayed through challenges with school friends determined to achieve shiny levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, particular friendships never forgotten despite the passage of time. Exclusively created with a painting knife rather than brushes, another example of how polishing paint into the canvas board, with an eye to shape and perspective, can make for a credible outcome. Happy days.
