Whilst painted in my preferred medium of oils, the lighter touch techniques employed have created a scape which is purposefully reminiscent of the softer watercolour approach to painting, so successfully handled by other artists.

Worked up using only a painting knife, the composition came together gradually by ‘polishing’ the paint into the canvas board, and then adding details using the same knife.
